Sarah and I finished working in the school room today. We were struggling trying to figure out what we wanted to put on the bulletin board. I enjoy putting up a new bulletin board for the beginning of the new year. Sarah and I had been talking about it and we just could not come up with a good idea for the board. I decided to think about it and see if I could come up with something catchy to use. Well, needless to say, I could not think of anything.
We are using a new curriculum this year for school. We are going to be using My Father’s World Exploring Countries and Cultures. Both Sarah and I are really excited about this new direction for the school year. It will be a lot of fun to learn about different countries and their cultures.
As I have been praying about the new school year, I asked the Lord to give me an idea for our bulletin board for this year. Today, the Lord laid on my heart Matthew 28:19, The Great Commission. How PERFECT this verse is for our bulletin board! I shared with Sarah what the Lord had placed on my heart for the bulletin board and she immediately LOVED it too. It is so incredible how God reveals the plans that He has for us. So, Sarah and I punched out the letters and placed them on the bulletin board. When we were done, we stepped back and we both knew it was perfect.
If you are a missionary and happen to read this blog or know of a missionary that we can pray for throughout the school year, please leave a comment below. If there is a specific need that we can be praying about also, please let me know as well. Sarah and I really want to be a blessing to those that are serving the Lord as missionaries by praying for them this year.
Hope this post has been a blessing to you today!!!
